About Me

I love meeting people and talking about any and everything. I love going to concerts even though I only really starting going last year. Now that I have time I've been working on a website. It's nothing grand, but I'm enjoying it. I hope to go to Japan one day, but I'll have to save.I'm currently as a staff nurse on a ward. I started in November 05 after studying for three years...which was fun! . I'm happily engaged and have been for 2 years. I still live with my parents...oh dear. But I'm planning on moving out some time soon.

My Interests

Playing the guitar, listening to music, meetiing people, travelling, playing World of Warcraft, working on my website. I support local live bands, by taking pictures and posting them on my site. But my website is down as I'm kinda concentrating on doing my nursey thang. Saying that... I have started cycling and Iaido. The whole body and mind workout.

I'd like to meet:

I am looking to make some friends from anywhere in the world. I'm really interested in music and going to gigs. I'd like to meet new bands that I can put on my website:

Music:

Enigma, Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, The Prodigy, Opeth, Coheed & Cambria, System of A Down...amongst others. I absolutely enjoy going to see live bands. They don't have to be famous and my website is a way to show photos I've taken.

Movies:

Films from the Studio Ghibli Collection, recently saw The Number 23 which was a mindfuck. A bigger mindfuck was the film The Science of Sleep which was made by the guy who did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I'm slowly but surely getting into David Lynch films. Went to see Inland Empire. It was bloody strange, however they are very amusing.

Television:

Have to say that I'm reliving my childhood with A-Team. I like watching movies more then watching the TV.

Books:

I'm currently reading a Terry Brooks book - Straken. I also like reading Manga graphic novels.
