About Me

Livin in funky Peterborough has been the best for me! I love playing bass and singing with Dub Trinity, Slips 'n the High Fives, Lazy Horse, Getuplicans & Downocrats, and making music for Peterborough New Dance original productions. In the past I was singing & playing guitar with folk band Freshwater Trade, and bass with blues band Johnson's Hotel, and Grateful Dead cover band Zen Again. I also love singing madrigals and other polyphonic vocal stuff like michael hermiston's Botanical choral series. This year has been a performance pause for me as I been hitting the books and gettin myself into teacher's college so that i can exert my influence on the little darlings. top of my list would have to be other funky women and men who like to sing harmony - you people are hard to find!!! Other funkateers and good-time music-lovin people are who i'd like to meet. Oh yeah, and George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Geddy Lee, Phil Lesh, and Jimi Hendrix, someday...

Music:

I love live music -it's the only way that i can really get down. That's why i've made it my job to get people moving to live bands. Funk, Hip Hop, Rap, Reggae, Afrobeat and percussion of any kind are my loves along with experimentation and improvisation. I love hearing about new bands, upcoming shows and recordings so let me know when you're playing and i'll try to make it out.

Television:

yes folks, there is life after television. I stopped watching television 15 years ago and have had a productive and very fun life ever since.
