"Loose Lips" by Kimya Dawson
Kimya Dawson - brand new on the scene, instant fame due to the popularity of JUNO - some love her, some can't stand her - the Bob Dylan of today? That's a bold statement, but she's quite addicting and look at some of her lyrics:
"And we'll pray all damn day, every day
That all this shit our president has got us in will go away...
And I'll say FUCK BUSH AND FUCK THIS WAR"
Brazil
Why Brazil you ask? Not just because of Terry Gilliam's brilliant take on a 1984 dystopian future and how it blends fantasy with reality. But because Gilliam took it to the man to release his version of the film, waging a David and Goliath media campaign against the studio exec who wanted to cut up his film into the "Love Conquers All" version. By using Guerilla tactics and going against Universal's wishes by showing his film to the LA Critics, Gilliam forced the studio to release his version of the film after the LA Critics named it Best Picture of the year.
