About Me

Hey, I'm Ginger.
Around the age of 14, I began playing and writing music on the guitar and rather quickly, it became a consuming passion. That was almost 15 years ago, and even now, playing and making music gives me unspeakable joy. I graduated from Belmont University in 2001 where I studied commercial/classical guitar and English.
Most musicians have a shtick and I'm no exception. For me, it's alternate tunings; open D, open C, DADGAD, EFGHIJ....whatever it takes. Through the years, I've played for several indie artists including Cameron Bowley, Audrey Hatcher, Katy Bowser and Jill Phillips.
On the personal side, I enjoy cooking, painting/distressing old furniture, and being simultaneously informed and angered while listening to NPR. Also, I'm married to a Canadian rock star, Jon Ludlow, and we just celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.
As of late, I'm seriously digging into the recording/producing side of music. I usually work in ProTools and Ableton Live. Currently, I'm working on an EP of my own music entitled "Levels of Better". More songs will be available soon; some will be serious undertakings, others just for fun.
