About Me


Supermarket dj set in Rome. Mark & Astrid* selecting, crossing, breeding. New Wave (of the OldNewOld Wave), Britpop, Indielectro, DiscoSynthPunk, electric guitars grafted onto fat beats, lots of love. Call it "new rave", call it how you like it. We like to label it as "indielectro". But it's always us...
The "Supermarket nights" take place at the "Rock Side Pub" in Rome (via Veio 54, San Giovanni area) one Wednesday a month (usually around the middle of the month itself). Check out the calendar below to see the future dates. The admission is always free! And don't forget to catch us on featuring dj sets we're doing around for other clubnights/other venues! (Note: on the flyer below you can even spot our mail @gmail too, for information. Write to us if you dont have Myspace!)
So far, we djed in the following clubs/bars/venues in Rome: Circolo degli Artisti, Rialto Santambrogio, Zoobar, Traffic, Rock Side Pub, Lian, Gloss, Radio Cafè, Atelier 35, Sugar Cafè, Neo, 360 Gradi, Rock Castle, Jungle, Escopazzo, Pier-One, Sinister Noise, Init, Artù Cafè/Time Tunnel, Locanda Atlantide, Open Bar (Ostia). And other "unusual" locations: EUR lake, Terme di Caracalla, Fnac record store, Università Roma Tre. In Italy in: Perugia, Lecce, Sassari. In Rome we also served as supporting djs for: 1990s, Neils Children, Blood Red Shoes, We Smoke Fags, Trash Fashion, Clarky Cat, Polysics, Art Brut, The Wombats plus - of course - a lot of amazing italian bands :) Don't forget to regularly check out our current dates listed in the calendar below: it's constantly updated!
