THE FOREST HILLS

THE FOREST HILLS is an new horror film by filmmaker Scott Goldberg featuring Gloria Sanders, Diana Sanders, Robert Youngren, John Brodie, Peter Iasillo and John T. Farley.
The film is about two horror writers from New York who travel to Kentucky to document an urban legend that supposedly happened ten years earlier deep in the woods of THE FOREST HILLS.
Director Scott Goldberg talks about the film: "I wanted to make a film that was similar to the type of films that college students shoot for their final thesis projects. The composition and color is that of a 16mm black and white documentary." Inspired by many films and life, Goldberg wanted put a new spin on the Slasher genre. "We see the same thing with rip-offs of killers with masks who stalk their prey. We wanted to go for more of a human side to the killers, without using masks and using more suspense."
Trivia: The films that Scott Goldberg constantly watched while making the film was: Day of the Dead, Friday the 13th Part 3 and The Shining.
Trivia: Friday the 13th veteran actor Paul Kratka along with two other Friday alumni were scheduled to appear in an extended final sequence as Sheriffs but the plans fell through due to scheduling issues.
