About Me

If the Mckibbin Street lofts are the ‘art dorms’ then Potion is the Student Union. Our space is the loading dock of a now converted warehouse on McKibbin Street. Cozy, comfy, couchy, basically an extension of your living room. The atmosphere is so friendly and gregarious, we might as well be the ‘Cheers’ of Bushwick. If you're new to the neighborhood or Brooklyn in general, it’s the ideal place to meet your neighbors.

If you're hungry or thirsty, our coffee KICKS ASS! Organic and fair trade for a tasty and morally refreshing jolt of caffeinated goodness. Our tea meets true connoiseur standards - hand crafted by real people in China, India, and other nations. Our bagels rain down from heaven. And The ALCOHOL is always cheap. $2.50 PBR and $3 Red Stripe always. Plus wine, sake, MIMOSAS, pastries, soup, etc. Gastronomic treats galore!
Visual and aural treats too like live jazz and rotating monthly art exhibits.
