Oh so much music I love and so little space to mention them all. I just don't know where to begin....I'll try the begininning.....................................as well as the more electronic vibes of Wagon Christ, Quantic, Plump Djs, Mum, Bjork, Lemon Jelly, Four Tet, Loop Guru, Bent, Readymade FC, Stereolab, Eatstatic, Hallucinogen, Mouse on Mars, Orbital, Nitin Sawhney, Sebastian Tellier, Underworld and all the rest. And then theres the more Bands and Guitar stuff like Love, (see picture above) The Animal Collective, Gong, Calexico, Snow Patrol,Tracy Chapman, Gorkys Zygotic Mynci, Super Furry Animals, Moonflowers, King Creosote, Nick Harper, Beta Band, Afro Celt Soundsystem, Jens Lekman and all the others which I can't think of at this point in time....................... .. ..
I wish I could write about the movies I like. Only problem is I can't remember any of them due to my goldfish memory apart from 'Supergirl' which sadly I could quote word for word if I had to....oh and the Goonies.."hey you guys!"..er thats probably as far as my movie knowledge goes to date. Perhaps If I was to watch ALL the films I have ever seen in my life again I might actually be able to put something else in this section other than the fact that I can't remember any films...yeah I know..shut up Kaush and get on with it.
.. width="425" height="350" .. Wow, a computer chip with a mind of it's own being chased by computer chip baddies all to a fantastic track...now that's what I call telly.
I suppose its about time I started adding more information to these bits. So here goes... Hmmm books....having quite miraculously avoided reading books for the last...well...since I was born, purely down to the fact I'm pure lazy and the goldfish memory comes into play again here, I have managed to read a few over the past few years (even ones without illustrations or on tape). Really into Tom Robbins, "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" is a must read, quite liked Life of Pi, can't remember the Author's name. Celestine Prophecy was quite good the first time, although tried reading it again and it didn't have the same effect. Black Elk Speaks is a very moving story of struggles of Native Americans when some bloody foreigners turned up and turfed them off their own land. Carlos Castaneda "The Teachings of Don Juan" is a pretty freaky book, again abaout a Native American Shaman who scares the shit out of the reporter whos writing the story........................................The problem with books and me is that they have to have me hooked from the beginning and if they don't I put it down never to pick it up again. This is probably why my book reading has always been at an all time low, hopefully one day I'll be able to read a whole book without giving up half way..hmm..we'll see.
We are all heroes in our own special way I reckon. Oh, and Supergran.
