I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I was born, raised and lived my entire life until 2 1/2 years ago in Louisville, KY, truly one of the best cities out there. My parents are still together after 38 years and I have two brothers. My older brother is into the goth scene and does a lot of event promoting in Louisville, and my younger brother is into the hippie scene and lives on communes, so we're a very diverse family! I moved to this horrid place for acting, like the entire rest of LA, but acting is not my only passion. I have a degree in Interior Architecture and a minor in Art History, both of which I adore, and music is pretty much my life. So I think I would be very happy to work in the music business, do design work, take up writing, play/sing in a band, make artwork, open my own boutique, etc, etc. There is a lot I am into other than acting.Since I've been in LA, I have never felt stronger ties to my Southern roots. I feel as though I need to embrace everything Southern---the music, the culture, the Maker's---because I'm so removed from it here. ..

My Interests

I am in love with all of the arts! I play the violin and will one day learn to play the piano and guitar. I ballet dance and sing, and I love to draw, paint, write and cook. My favorite thing to do is to see live music, dance, or theatre. I love to travel and am especially in love with Italy. I am a design snob. I LOVE good design in interiors, fashion, art, etc. My style is ecclectic and I love everyting vintage or antique. I'm also very passionate about language and beautiful configurations of words, as well as, dare I leave out, correct grammer and punctuation, dammit (two areas in which almost all Americans are lacking). I live for good conversation and wit, and good music.

I'd like to meet:

Audrey Hepburn (such a beautiful person), Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Zach Braff, Cary Grant, Natalie Portman, Claire Danes, anyone musically talented, creative, or witty, good conversationalists.

Music is my inspiration

Once I went to a show at a little music venue in Louisville called Uncle Pleasant's to see a band called Lucero. This memory is one of my favorite Southern, slice of life experiences. The show was i...

Do you feel things deeply?

Once I had a friend back in Louisville who I really connected with.   She was a few years older than me and an aspiring writer, and when we met she was going through a hard pe...

Why I love Louisville more than LA.

Aside from the Southern culture and kindness, the historic architecture which makes it so aesthetically pleasing, and the inexpensive cost of living, what I love about Louisville the most is the way o...

Top 2 rules for asking out a waitress.....

As explained in my last blog, I am a server, or waitress, whichever verbage does not lead you to believe that I make my living on a surfboard in the ocean.  As such, I obviously me...

Buca di Beppo: Truly a dream job.

Let me begin by saying that I am an actress, otherwise known as a server. This is not to be confused with "surfer," like so many Californians mistake me for saying (funny that that mistake was never ...
