Bobo Danki Soundsystem

Coming from the well known beats of Hip Hop, 5 years ago Max and
Benni from Oberstaufen/Allgäu (Germany) developed a sense for
the culture of Jamaican music. Through their first impressions of the Reggaebusiness and Tunes like "Bag a Tings" by General Degree or
"Next Millennium" by Bounty Killer, both got infected by the Dancehallfever
and dreamt of their own Soundsystem.
Because of their no-money-situation, they first had to satisfy themselves
with CD´s and bootlegs until they eventually could afford their first
turntables and vinyl records. Reaching this first goal, they started making
first experiences with the Hardware of the "real Soundboys".
Then, 2 years ago, the combo got introduced to Raffael from Sonthofen, who still was into Hip Hop at that time. Nevertheless, after
spending numerous hours with Max and Benni, he couldn´t resist the
"Reggae Virus" either and started getting deeper into it.
Max, Benni and Raffael started hanging out in their basements (well,
rather "bassments") making their own tunes and from time to time
they even could heat up some private parties. After gathering enough experience, in 2005 their dream of an own soundsystem got fullfilled
by founding the - Bobo Danki Soundsystem - to rock the massive.
Meanwhile the Bobo Danki Sound covers the entire range of Jamaican
music. Their programm consists of almost everything starting from the
early "Studio One" over "Concious Vibes" ´til the late Dancehall- and
Soca- Tunes. Meanwhile they have even recorded some Dubplates.
