Massive Vibez Movement

About Me

For more than two years now we provide our region with good vibrations as the first soundsystem in an area which was quite reggae-less before. It all began in a small Pub called Kantn, a place of worship for alternative music, in Miesbach. During our first Reggaebash Steve Hi-Fi and his brother Maxx Banton got a part of the soundsystem so that our quartet was complete on the first evening: Doc Snyda and Steve Hi-Fi on the turntables. Maxx Banton as a MC and Highrie as an operator and organizer. A few months later Steve Hi-Fi went to Jamaica for a few weeks to build the foundation of our Dubplate-Collection. A few weeks later a previous highlight happened for us. We arranged a two-day Soundsystem Festival near the Highway in Irschenberg which was for the benefit of the NURO help for ethiopia (http://www.nuro.de) Sounds like Fred & Barney or Buzzin Bashment took place in that event. After that one of us turned his back on germany again, but for a little bit longer this time. In Summer 2004 Highrie spent a whole year in Argentina an he soaked up the south-american reggae vibrations of Buenos Aires. During this time a lot of things happened here in germany too. Next to some Live Shows in Rosenheim, Munich and the surrounding areas, Steve`s second jamaica trip was in sight but together with his brother maxx this time. Full of experiences and impressions we overshooted together again in autumn 2005. Followed by numerous Live Shows together with Live-DJs like Dopewalka, Mr. Wicked, David & Jahfrey or with other sounds like Sentinel, Barney Millah or Righteous Riddims. But also behind the scene the show must go on. For example there was the first album-production from Massive Vibez Movement. Alika & Nueve Allianza, reggae-gold from Buenos Aires, introduced her new album "Razón Meditación Acción" on http://www.massive-vibez.de And this will surly not be the last thing you hear about Massive Vibez Movement. In 2006 there was another weighty change for our sound. Defenda, former selecta of Bassartillery joined our soundsystem and is also behind our turntables now to strengthen our Roots & Culture Influences. Since then, Steve is more and more concentrated to do the MC/DJ work and entertain the people!
