About Me
Miami artist, Andy V, was born in New York, shortly after his parents left Cuba in the 1960's. Calling Miami home for 30 years, he created his first solo art studio in the year 2000, at "Urban Garden", a property located in the Little River business district of Miami.
After working in stained glass for several years, Andy's new envirement lead him to begin creating with recycled materials.
Light fixtures soon became his new passion. A vintage microphone was the first object to be transformed into a light source.
Urban Art would best describe his work as of late, as he uses anything and everything for his visual creations.
Andy continues his work till this day and also enjoys writing, music, and photography.
