About Me

Melodic, electronica, acoustica, folktronica, glitch, intelligent listening music, chopped up beats, strings, lofi recordings, field sounds and samples, all mixed up and squashed together. Well something like that. And my dad likes the beat too! Frequently spotted loose on the streets of Manchester, fondling minidisc, sticking a mic here and there. Strolling through the beautiful Southern Cemetary in Chorlton recording 'it's lovely sounds'.
Making music is that lovely, or should that be making music that is lovely!
Melodic, complex and glitchy. Or just simple and catchy.
mundane music have had several releases. The classic 8" clear vinyl ep 'a place in mind' was released through the eclectic Heliotone Records, strictly limited edition, you'll do well to get hold of one.
A recent release is with the newly formed Kipper Records label. 'Catch of the Day 1' is the first Kipper release featuring a track by mundane music and Sanjuro77. It is digital, it is in plastic CD format, as is the style I've heard, with beautiful hand crafted packaging.
mundane music will be included on more of the 'Catch of the Day' releases along with other experimantal artists.
