Can anybody say Barack Obama 08?

About Me

about me...

"I ain't no perfect man...I'm trying to do the best that I can...with what it is I have."--Mos DefMy name is Joseph Edwards. I'm a 19 year old saxophonist and college student double majoring in American Studies and Political Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

I'm all about letting God be the leader of my life and learning more about Him. And I'm working on putting that ideology into practice as best I can...I seek to conform not to this world, but to His world. Because for me, God is the truth, the light, and the vision...

On the music side, I've been playing sax for about nine years now, and I released my first project, "Genesis", during the summer of 2006. It's an all instrumental gospel compilation available on itunes, myspace, or cdbaby, and features Phillip Carter on production.I'm also currently working on a second project tentatively titled "The People's Gathering" which should hopefully be out mid- 2008. There's going to be a lot more original material on this album and once again Phillip Carter is featured on production.

I hope that you enjoy my music...

Any feedback is welcome...I can't grow without criticism, either positive or negative..

Also, if you have any questions about booking, or anything else for that matter, feel free to hit me up
