About Me

My profile is mostly about me but I also use it to advertise the rock and alternative club night I run at the University of Hertfordshire. If anyone wants to get in touch about my DJ setlists or more info about upcoming events and promotions then feel free to send me a message/comment...
Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3's
I currently work at the University of Hertfordshire where I DJ and promote a punk, rock, emo, metal, and crossover night every Tuesday called Distort
Full info regarding the upcoming events is available on the new website launching this week!
Ok in terms of 'me' I guess I'm quite a complex guy, but in a good way! I'm probably a bit eccentric compared to some people, but I'd rather be like that then just bland and boring!
I consider myself to be intelligent, intellectual, and artistic, but I spend way too much time procrastinating when I should be getting stuff done! Academically I have a BA (Hons) in 'Software Systems for the Arts & Media' as well as a Master or Arts degree in 'Digital Practices', and I'm currently working as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire where I teach web/graphic design. I'm then juggling this with freelance work, being a DJ and Promoter, and my 'other' job as an all-round HMV music whore!
Very much into art with specific intererest hyperfictions and the web but above all my main passion is music - mostly metal, punk, emo, hardcore, and screamo, but my taste in music is really diverse. I also like a lot of dance music such as Pendulum, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and Aphex Twin, as well as more chilled out stuff like Sigur Rós, Massive Attack, Bjork, Mylo, and Boards of Canada.
I'm well into WWE and end up watching it until like 4am when Smackdown and RAW are on live. I'll even watch the repeats if I'm bored, despite the fact I've already seen all the matches! FYI: The Undertaker is the greatest wrestler of all time - FACT!
I'm also hooked on 24, Lost, Nip Tuck, Bones, and all those kinds of shows. In fact if I didn't have Sky with all the music, sports, and movie channels then I'd probably cry myself to sleep every night (only kidding, but its awesome to have loads of channels for when there's nothing to do!)
I'm a classic child of the 80's - you can't beat Thundercats, Fraggle Rock, Dungeons & Dragons, The Crystal Maze, Transformers, and Knightmare - these programs defined my childhood :op
What else can I say.... ah yes well I'm quite mature (mostly) but I also possess a moderate level of insanity! I also have a tendancy to say random things like 'to the crystal dome' and generally swear and use words like 'cunt' WAY too much!
Basically I am just ME (and I do it all with messy sticky uppy hair!) :op

Also a message first would be nice, as I'm not into MySpace whoring or adding millions of people I don't know in real life!
