About Me

Long haired dude who still loves his metal!

My Interests

Mainly music, especially metal. I love going to concerts and enjoy the hard rock/metal scene. I'm glad its finally getting more popular again. Otherwise I just like hanging out, drinking some beers, and having a good time.

I'd like to meet:

Some people I used to know from back in the day. Also new people interested in metal/hard rock music. Anybody that's cool really.

Music:

Metal!!!! Did I already say that? Favorite band of all time is Savatage (hence the name) Second fav is Dream Theater. After them, there are a ton I like. Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Testament, Flotsam And Jetsam, Exodus, Metal Church, Doctor Butcher, Chris Caffery, Trouble, Overkill, Slayer, Opeth, Pagans Mind, Symphony X, Evergrey, Vanden Plas, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Brainstorm, Symphorce, Tad Morose, Into Eternity, Fireball Ministry, Fear Factory, Nevermore, Helloween, Manticora, Hammerfall, Armored Saint, Loudmouth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Adagio, Iced Earth, Jon Oliva's Pain, Joe Satriani, Sacred Riech, Powermad, Queensryche, Shadows Fall, Tesla, Dokken, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Circle II Circle, Freak Kitchen, Threshold, Primal Fear, Epica, and a ton more. I grew up with hard rock in the 70's having older siblings. In the 80's I became a big thrash/speed metal fan. Around 1999 when Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt.2: Scene's From A Memory came out I got into the progressive/power metal scene much more. I enjoy other genre's of music also, except for country. I just can't get into that at all, but I listen to some form of Rock/Metal most of the time.

Movies:

Some of my favorites are Escape From New York, Shawshank Redemption, Goodfellas, Clerks I & II, This Is Spinal Tap, The Warriors, Drugstore Cowboy, Blues Brothers, Pulp Fiction.

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, Lost, 24, Metal Mania, HBB, Jericho, Deadliest Catch, Dexter.

Books:

Ehh, what can I say. Not much of a reader here. I really liked Steven King's 'The Stand' when I read it many years ago.

Heroes:

I'll have to get back to this one.
