BAND BIOGRAPHY THRILL DELUXE was formed in the spring of
2003 in Huntington Beach Ca., by Harlis Sweetwater,
with the desire to make music that had a more
mainstream, hard and heavy edge, while maintaining
soulful and emotional quality. After a succession of drummers, the
spot was solidified with fellow
Orange County resident Joe Sykes,
who was the backbone of the popular Alternative Rock band
Ten Mile Tongue. Bassist Antonius Ortega was
recently added in 2007.
Pulling from music of
the past and present, they have created music
that is compelling, raw, and dynamic. Their lyrics
are honest, straight- forward and personal.
Tackling the subjects of vanity, greed, lust,
jealousy and of course…love. With extensive
touring, recording, and performing credits,
the band rolls into 2007 continuing to write,
record and perform their brand of hard
Rock n’ Roll.
THRILL DELUXE sold out of the first 3 pressings of their
debut album “Life, Religion & Love†, released a
follow up self-titled album in 2006, and are currently
working on new recordings for 2007.
REVIEW SAMPLES BY LUCKY - SUGAR BUZZ MAGAZINE
"...Thrill Deluxe is one of those self made rock
machines in a world where more and more whiney
ass bands get the brass ring, while real rockers
get a tarnished deal that makes your neck green..."

"That bitch is the shit" and so is this song.
I played this song to a girl I know and her
response was, "This song is nasty!" Damn
right baby. "That Bitch" is an ode to drinking
and fucking like it was meant to be. Brings
out the bad boy in ya. Killer guitar grunts
and groans like a good session should.
Another love at first listen.
Review by: Phil Bowyer, Phibble Radio "...I'm giving "Thrill Deluxe" five stars for uniqueness,
quality and for the ability to give me a minor case
of whiplash from excessive headbanging.
Thrill Deluxe are a bunch of good guys,
and it shows in the music...."
Review by D.J. Kirkbride "...Thrill Deluxe really embraces the showmanship of
rock that occasionally harkens back to the likes of
AC/DC and Led Zeppelin and some 80s rock bands
like Whitesnake or Def Leppard (without the
occasional cheese), not shying away from showing
off on the solos once in a while, really celebrating
the fun and craft of hard rock. They have a sound
that's all theirs, but fans of all the aforementioned
bands, not to mention the likes of newer outfits
Audioslave or Velvet Revolver, should really
enjoy Thrill Deluxe!..."
