what started with three turned into many and now basicly i'm the only one left. the other guys have been working on other projects or have been really busy with there personal lives, and doing very well . as for what's next? i'll be playing mainly solo and being i share my name with a man who is famous for killing his wives. i think i'll keep the name of forty watt bulb alive. by no means am i saying i am forty watt bulb. this project has been a reality because of the work and dedication of many great people. so let it be known forty watt is still going but it will mainly be me "drew peterson" playing solo or sometimes a duo when available.
bj, joel, and i started this project with two goals, keep it simple and make it all about the song. hence the name "f.w.b." my goals for this project haven't changed so neither will the name."Snivel offers some surprisingly tender and wistful sting plucked ditties such as, "Sodapop", but the band is at it's best when it's at it's most playful, as in the cover of Springsteins, " I'm on Fire", and the hilarious original "WWLLCJD" (that's "What would LL Cool J Do".)" Chris Riemenschneider -Star Tribune." Frontman Drew Peterson has a voice that's frayed in all the right places, and the lively cascade of eighth notes spilling out of Andy Dee's resophonic guitar and BJ Haldy's banjo will get you wound up to kick dirt." Sarah Askari -City Pages."Snivel has a stripped down style and often quirky lyrics that make it hard not to plaster on a smile while the disc is spinning. The CD is filled with hooks that demand attention and toe tapping" Adam Hammer- St.Cloud Times"Snivel is an unpretentious portrait of a band, complete with heartfelt love songs and thoughtful tracks about how to live life." John Hansen- Brainerd Dispatch.
