,..Gelousy.. .. the band stayed loyal to sound of grunge for already ten years!!! In some ways legendary band ..Gelousy.. will released its second album named ..LOST & FOUND.. at January the 20th. Legendary because there are not so many bands in Latvia performing in grunge and rock style. There were several and have formed some new, but only few have stayed loyal to this style of music and one of stronger among them is ..Gelousy... ..Gelousy.. shouldn..t be ashamed about musicians, because low tone voice belongs to singer Janis Vanags, which have sung in the band ..Nejauta.. few years ago. Janis Vanags have participated in several commercial and non-commercial festivals and have got different kind of awards. Guitars in the band are playing such experts as Edgars Kaukis (Melnais), which have started in the band ..Husquarna... And there are only few rock bands in Latvia he hasn..t played in. Guitar player Eduards Ancans (Edzis) has improved his guitar performance in the bands ..Grindmaster Dead.., ..Big Love & Sex Forever.., ..Voiceks Voiska... Bass player Jurgis Blumbers have played in ..Hell Patrol.., ..D.D.Rabit.., ..Old Soldiers.., drummer Pavils Bobrovskis is still playing in the band ..Exit.. in his turn. Album ..LOST & FOUND.. has included songs created in different periods. However biggest part of them are new and created in last 2 years. There are some songs heard before included in ..LOST & FOUND.. with fresh sound. The song ..Superhead.. have made the surprise for the band too, because the song is not from the new ones but has so wide sound and huge influence of grunge as no one in this album. ..In My Hands.. has played successfully at radio in 2005. The song ..Highway.. which ends the album have created in 20 minutes in the rehearsal process and isn..t one of the worst. The album is melodic overall and there is feeling of calm atmosphere, but in songs such as ..Officeman.., ..Story Of The Black Barrow.. and ..In My Hands.. make feeling the band is familiar with the taste of sharp rhythm. There is something to say regarding all of the songs, but we suggest to find and taste the feelings of ..LOST & FOUND.. to listener himself. There are 13 songs total in the album created in different states of mind and situations. ..LOST & FOUND.. is the word from ..Gelousy.. to the present world and mankind as the band has felt it, probably a little comic and miserable sometimes. However, what we are and what we are feeling in fact belongs to ourselves.. ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------Band was formed in year 1996 by musicians from bands Nejauta, Huskvarn etc. In short period was created musical material and were started concert activities, which has made band for one of the better known Latvian bands in the end of 90-s. In next six years we have played in almost all Latvian music clubs and festivals. In that time were recorded many songs and group's music was highly appraised by radio stations and music industry. Till this moment some of these songs are in Latvian radio station playlists. Gelousy is actual in today's Latvian music world! Band has taking part in different festivals and won the festival "Sinepes un medus" ("Mustard & Honey") in Madona. The song "Udens un vins" ("Water And Wine") in year 1997 has stayed on the position No. 1 in one Latvian radiostations top. So like several songs from album "No Name" has airplayed on Radio SWH and on another radiostations.
