Moving to Nashville was a huge adjustment, because everything I had done musically in the past seemed to also be wiped clean. I have been a full-time musician since I went on the road at the age of sixteen, lived and traveled all over the United States, and played with amazing musicians over the years! I learned quickly that Nashville isn’t the easiest town to be an outside musician trying to get a gig. I spent the first three months going to bars, learning local musicians’ material, using my space, and then waiting. I wanted to be ready for any opportunity I might get to play drums again. I got the chance I needed to prove myself as a drummer after a couple of months of persistently showing up to any and all gigs! That chance led to me to an opening act for Big & Rich, playing with James Otto and Shanna Crooks. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to play with some of Nashville’s most talented up-and-coming artist; Phoenix Mendoza (Josh Leo), Trevor Rosen, Stacy Collins, Shanna Crooks, James Otto, and the other guys in Muzik Mafia like Shannon Lawson. I am currently playing drums for Jamie O'Neal and occasionally for most of the artist listed above. Learning all of the artist’s material with so many songs and such different styles has been a challenge, but I wouldn’t have my life any other way. I go to work and play with musicians who have written and produced more hits than I have been alive. I am very lucky to play with artists who are absolutely amazing!!! Come check us out!
