Art, music, video, photography, movies, books, writing, people watching, traveling, outdoorsy stuff when I have time -- hiking, canoeing, camping and so forth. Games: Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Halo II, Metroid Prime. Metal shows! Meeting metal people!
I'd like to meet:
Let me be perfectly blunt with you. This profile is here for the purpose of networking with METAL people -- i.e., people who are into metal, in the metal music industry, or are metal musicians. As such, I can't afford to spend all that much time emailing people I'll never meet unless it's something to do with a show, or graphic-related stuff.
I am not interested in meeting anyone here for dates. I usually tend to handle the dating situation in real life, so unless we've already met in real life, there's little chance that we'll do so here.
I am interested in meeting interesting people, though. It doesn't matter if you're a psychopath or a geek or what, if you are real and have something interesting to say, then I think we might have a few things to talk about. Everyone's got something interesting to say if they try... it's just a matter of being yourself.

"Of all the Gin-joints in all the towns in all the world, and she walks into mine!"
"Never tell anyone outside the family what you're thinking."
"All it takes is time and pressure."
"Sometimes being a bitch is all a woman's got to hang onto."
"There are two kinds of people in this world, my friend... those with loaded guns, and those who dig... You dig."
"I triple-dog dare ya!"
"Joey... you ever been in a Turkish Prison?"
"Help! Help! I'm bein' repressed!"
"What was his name? His name man -- give me his name!""Umm... Abby... something.""...Abby... who?""Abby... Normal!"
"Bicycle smile!"
Television:
I am way too busy to watch TV. I occasionally watch Adult Swim or Conan O'Brien, but only once in a blue moon do I ever have time.
Books:
Latest book I bought is the new C.J. Cherryh: "Fortress of Ice." That whole series is awesome, but then, so is every book or story I've ever read by her. I also like William Gibson, George R. R. Martin, Orson Scott Card, George Orwell, Franz Kafka, Tolstoy, Jane Austen, Frederick Pohl, Larry Nivens, Ben Bova, Tolkein, Shakespeare, Chaucer, and all the old Arthurian tales are cool, especially the ones about Gawain and the Greene Knight. I especially like to read folklore from ancient Celtic legends, and the old Germanic epics are cool as well, but I don't like Wagner because he was an idiot, an anti-Semite racist, and besides opera sucks anyway.
Heroes:
Heros... bah, who needs 'em? I don't believe in worshipping anyone else. No one is sacred. However, I can admire people, and I admire anyone who lives their lives with integrity and dignity, and who tries to make some kind of contribution to society.
