Drummers are musicians too! (aren't we?)

About Me

I've played drums in a few Michigan area bands in the 90's and 0's including Some People's Children and The All New Negatives. I'm currently playing with Penumbrae and National Ghost, be sure to check out both pages. And remember; there is great music out there, you just have to seek it out.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: penumbrae.net, nationalghost.com
Band Members: Tracks on this site are from 4 different projects I have played in. Elect a King was recorded by Some People's Children in the mid-90s in Ann Arbor for a local band compilation disc. It is also featured in the indie film Trap. Almost was played by Penumbrae and recorded live in 2006 at Small's Pub, Hamtramck. Sparks is a basement demo played and recorded by National Ghost, after-market horns by John Kachnowski. Duck Zup is a basement demo (Adams Underground) played and recorded by The All New Negatives.
Influences: Here's a few: The Beatles, Tom Waits, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, all of my bandmates, Thelonious Monk, Phish, Modest Mouse, Bun E. Carlos (his playing on Live at Budokan is what made me want to play drums) Buddy Rich, Animal, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Chamberlin, Tribal Tech, Bill Bruford, King Crimson, Ian Paice. Ummm, lots more...
