Joe

I was born the morning of July 14th, 1980 at five o' clock in Dayton, Ohio. My parents gave me the name Joseph McKinley Dillon. We lived in a few different places, Monahans, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee. We also moved to different towns in Ohio, Dayton, Eaton, Celina, and Columbus. I was raised in music, and theatre. Through that I realized my talents. I love to sing and act! I became a Christian the summer of '98 at a Christian music festival called Cornerstone. It was during a Five Iron Frenzy concert. The fall of 1999 I joined a mission organization, Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I started in Nashville, Tennessee doing three schools, the Disciple Training School (DTS), the School of Evangelism (SOE), and the School of Music and Worship (SOMW). God allowed me to go to some awesome countries during that time such as: Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico. After my SOMW, in the summer of 2001, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be apart of the YWAM campus down there. I was there for a few months. Then I was able to join a Music Company and a Theatre Company apart of YWAM Montana. In the summer 0f 2002 I did the Musician's Summer of Service (MSOS) with YWAM Montana where I was able to go to Kyrgyzstan. The year 2003 I was able to join a band with the Music Company, because of doing the MSOS. I played keyboard going on two tours, and recording a full length LP with the band All But Screaming. The fall of 2003 I felt I needed to move back to Jacksonville, Florida to be DTS staff with YWAM Jax. I got to go to Malaysia and Thailand, and for that outreach I made a video. I showed it to my friend Howard, the Training Director of YWAM Jax, at the time. He asked me to be the YWAM Jax Video Producer, and that brings us to present time. I have been able to use the gifts that God has given me to use for His purpose, singing, playing music, my creative side, and I was able to go to Cambodia, and Thailand. It has been amazing! In the month of April 4th-the end of May I went to Thailand for the fourth time and China for my last outreach with Youth With A Mission.
