Music (listening to/searching for/mixing/producing/compiling), DJ-ing (house mostly, but I do 80's, rock, and classic hip hop when need be), vinyl, playing my guitar when the mood strikes, live music, film, music videos with substance, dining out with good company and good food (al fresco if it's doable), central park in the summer, english breakfast tea/soy lattes, balancing my chi, working out (when I'm not injuring myself), art (any form of), clubs/lounges, wine, my i-pod, my bose headphones, sneakers, animals, Maverick.
Old friends, new ones. Preferably people that DON'T suck and don't play games (geniuneness seems hard to come by these days).
Anyone that needs a femme DJ to rock the party or wants to come SEE me DJ. Anyone that has quality refreshing music to share (please don't confuse this with inundating me with band add requests). Creative and innovative people. Other industry folk. Wouldn't mind meeting Madonna again either, but something tells me she's not reading this.
Oh and these kids:
My latest mix is available HERE (and above)...if you like what you hear please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm always looking for new opportunities.
I've done many one offs (and a couple of residencies) at lots of places in NYC (Le Souk, BED, Cellar Bar, Spider Club/Avalon, etc). Check out www.dejashouse.com for a full list of places, but here are a few flyers from parties I've done:
