About Me

I smell piggies!

I am a punk rock lovin', art-craving, earth-advocating (don't go there, i ain't no damn hippy!), politicized cancerian. I live by my own rules, i do my own things, my mind is a machine gun, the audience is the target, and my mouth is the bullets...

Music has helped shape my life in many great ways, and i feel the need to pass on my passion for punk (etc.) to others. I find ways to express myself musically as much as humanly possible. To see some of my musical influences Go Here!

I can't get enough of the aggressive sounds of punk, Oi!, hardcore, ska and everything in between. Some of my favorite bands are from Chicago , cuz that's where i originated from; but i am also into the local groove .

I like old skool punk, all kinds of hardcore, ska-punkery, and special props out to the punks politicizing their shit! I also like intelligent hip hop, drum-n-bass, and definitely the classics. Although, i gotta say that commercial malarchy CLEAR CHANNEL force feeds us everytime the radio goes on HAS GOT TO GO!

And booty music... that shit has made too many of my generation into horny, ignorant, and complacent dodo heads. Not that being horny is a bad thing, it just makes some people into raging baby machines, and that's no good.

I spend my days reading scary stories, drawing cartoons, and drafting up plans for MASS REVOLUTION

In my freetime, I enjoy making art, jumping on my trampoline, and telling fascists to fuck off!

I advocate action over apathy, and applaud those that think freely for themselves. I keep my days and nights action packed with skateboarding, crazy surf sessions, filling up my body with tattoos, and random acts of vandalism...

I am proud of my heritage and seek to practice my Hawaiian culture when i can. I've been to Kaho..olawe to help restore the aina*, I stand against the military expansion of our islands (Makua Valley; The Stryker Brigade; UARC), and I've worn a malo like in the days of old! Ooh la la!

I take part in various resistance movements, from addressing the symptoms of police brutality and standing up for women's rights ( Refuse and Resist! ), to ending the military expansion throughout the islands ( DMZ Hawaii / Stop UARC ), to addressing the onslaught of people in Iraq due to a war brought on by greedy Bush and all his cronies ( Not In Our Name ). And speaking of Dubya, isn't it about time that people get pissed off enough that we can actually successfully make change (and not just by voting another asshole into office!) Check out the Campaign to Drive out the Bush Regime. World Can't Wait online for more info!

*For anyone who wants to see why the United States should get the fuck out of Hawaii, i suggest you visit Kaho..olawe . This was once a spiritual center of the Hawaiian people, until the US military used it as a target practice in a drive for world domination... What great stewards they are! I know i just love seeing bombs sticking out of the ground, don't you?

For anyone wants a little fun while imagining a world with no fascist politicians like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, Go Here!

Check out these phat beats!!

My Interests

I love Head Banging

It's time we all open our eyes to the lies!

Ok, so I'm into Anarchism , could you tell?

Maybe it's time we all start using our voices , before we lose them!

I'd like to meet:

I can't meet anyone right now, i have rabies and my mom told me i'll burn my skin if i go out in the sun... sorry

But seriously, i'm into meeting people that are funny and not afraid to be themselves. I think midgets are cool. Basically anyone that's not a punk ass and thinks they're the shiz-nit cuz they have fancy clothes in their closet. Bigots, assholes and posers need not apply!

I believe that everyone has the right to be who they are, but i'm not too fascinated with patriotic, brainwashed idiots who talk with their asses instead of their mouths.

I do like intelligent, sensitive, thoughtful and beautiful women... in case you were wondering!

If the police throw tear gas at us, why shouldn't we throw cocktails at them?

Leave T.R. a fucking comment!

Music:

I love it when bands hook me up with FREE music, so i can play new stuff on my radio show The Radical Noise Addiction !

It's February 2007 now, and lately i've been diggin' on some recent punk, ska, and hardcore additions to my collection.

Of course gotta give props to my crew and brothers in Black Square, for finally finishing "One Glass of Water" (For information on ordering, visit here ). I also recently ordered the new album from London's finest punk/ska Capdown, and have been enjoying those tunes.

I've also been listening to a lot of the new Big D & the Kids Table split with Brain Damage from China, "Accidental Gentleman" from Piebald, "Broadcasting" from Comeback Kid

PUNK ROCK TILL I DIE!!

Anti-Flag Video "Death of A Nation"
Some other music that kicks ass!

Movies:

Yes, i finally updated this shit! If you care enough about me to wanna see what movies i dig on, then go to my blog posted T.R. also likes movies! Boo yeah!

Television:

I don't really watch all that much television, but i won't lie and say i don't throw on the boob tube every now and then for a slight fix of gamma ray fun. My channel changes when i see some bullshit patriotic malarchy, which unfortunately occurs everytime a military recruitment commercial comes on. BLAH!!

I do like to watch cartoons, and some of my favorites these days can be seen on Adult Swim (Future Rama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Family Guy), but i always enjoy a good episode of South Park, with all the gore and twisted sillyness you can stand for 30 minutes straight.

Big ass fan of The Daily show, damn John Stewart is fucking hilarious, what a cool dude! And gotta give props to Steven Colbert for stickin' it to them dang Repubs in such a covert way! You're the man!!

I am absolutely SICK AND TIRED of all the reality TV bullshit that get's spewed upon us these days, and i can't wait until Americans learn that it's more exciting learning to live our own lives, instead of being sucked into the TV un-reality of everyone else's life. And FUCK OFF!Dog the bounty hunter, i hope some rabid crocadile bites off your flipping mullet, and get a new wardrobe for you wife, the 80's are fucking OVER!! BLAH BLAH!!

I don't really care too much for sports (and I'm a MAN!! What's going on??!)

But seriously, how important is it for us to spend so much time and energy idolizing a bunch of sweaty guys who like to grab balls and pile on top of each other? I'd rather be watching a skater crack his nuts open on a 12 step! Or how about a surfer sucking barrel and surviving to brag about it later? That's what i'd like to watch...

And poker's kinda fun sometimes too. Could one call that a sport?? Hmmm...

Let's see, i like sci-fi, so i'm always up for some creepy crawly scare your socks off kinda shit.

And i don't know about you, but aren't you always like super fascinated when you learn some random shit about our planet, the human race, or some other odd info from the Discovery Channel?

I am also a big fan of certain old school shows, like IN LIVING COLOR and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. It's nice to look back upon the good old days... ("I'm getting a little veclempt!"----- remember that one?)

My roommates love the show LOST, but i've never seen it so i don't know what all the fuss is about. I do know, however, that the singer of our band, BLACK SQUARE, was featured in an episode last season wearing nothing but a diaper. What a baby!!

Ok, no more staring at this screen.

Books:

I wanna read this book:

The first English translation of Guerin's monumental anthology of anarchism, published here in one volume. It details a vast array of unpublished documents, letters, debates, manifestos, reports, impassioned calls-to-arms and reasoned analysis; the history, organization and practice of the movement-its theorists, advocates and activists; the great names and the obscure, towering legends and unsung heroes.

This definitive anthology portrays anarchism as a sophisticated ideology whose nuances and complexities highlight the natural desire for freedom in all of us. The classical texts will re-establish anarchism as both an intellectual and practical force to be reckoned with. Includes writings by Emma Goldman, Kropotkin, Berkman, Bakunin, Prouhon, and Malatesta.

Daniel Guerin was the author of Anarchism: From Theory to Practice.

Heroes:
