The powers that be have not put me on this planet to be less than I am, or to waste what is unique to me. It's time to clean house (literally, as well as metaphorically), clear the cobwebs, say goodbye or kick the ass of fears I have carried for far too long, and LIVE! Be who I am. Boldly and unapologetically. Help me people! Thats what we were put here, togather for!I have found it hard to write this section. I keep adding stuff or quotes that I found that speak for at least a part of me. I imagine that I will continue to add and change this section, for I am constantly in flux. Coming or going? Who knows? Least of all me. Maybe my friends are the better source to ask about me. I am too stuck in the middle of it all!
One thing I can say, is that I am about equally a child of light and dark. Obviously the achetypal fight of good and evil is being played out within me at all times, and one side will overpower the other from time to time. However, there is usually a high-noon, hands-on-the-trigger type of uneasy standoff going on. Which makes me a study in contridictions, I suppose. Dungeon one minute, playground the next. I find equal joy in slinking and skipping. I'm drawn to both dark corners and wide open spaces. I want to shine, and be cloaked in shadows in equal measure. One part of me wants to ditch it all for the next adventure, while the other part wants to knit on the front porch while I watch the world spin by. Breathe in, breathe out...
It's a good thing that I'm in theatre, at least in this regard (we can debate the pros and cons at length, if you wish!) It gives me a forum in which to experience more than my life has given me, and more than I want in reality. Lets pretend. Play dress-up. Walk a mile in another's shoes. Dive into another's life, and find something about yours in the process. Plus, you get to be part of a world that is created in which something happens. Plays are, or should be, about the important parts of the story, not the boring parts. And oh! How I loathe, and fear the boring. Anything but that.
