And now, a lil "about me" in case you care to know...
Hmmm...where do I begin?! Alright, I guess if there's one thing about me that I'm truly proud of, it's that I'm not the person that people assume I am. I've worked hard for everything I've ever had, and I'm a better person because of it.
I LOVE sports...especially ice hockey & college football. I'm a die-hard Trojan fan and proud alumnus!!! So, if it's a Saturday between August and January...you can pretty much bet I'm either at a game, or watching one on TV somewhere. FIGHT ON TROJANS!!!
I love the L.A. Kings and the Anaheim Ducks, and I have been watching hockey since I was 9 years old. I have multiple jobs, two of which are some of the best jobs on the planet. I work for both the Anaheim Ducks (5 seasons) and the Anaheim/Los Angeles Angels (5 seasons)...it's like getting paid to have season tickets & behind-the-scenes access to two great professional teams...I LOVE it!!! When I'm not busy at work I'm either: reading...and, preferably, doing so laying by the pool/at the beach while tanning; out with friends; trying to coax myself to the gym; or, cozy somewhere sleeping.
I love foreign and domestic movies from all genres and time periods...I just wish I had more time and money to see everything I want to in theaters. I love learning. I love reading...especially the Harry Potter books (yes, I am a TOTAL Potter-dork, and I am PROUD of it!). I am anxious to travel more...I love it! The travel bug has definitely bitten me, so, as soon as I can get out of here and start exploring the laundry list of places I want to see & things I want to do...I'm outta here!
I'm picky (especially with food!). I am extraordinarily sarcastic. I love to laugh (and to be surrounded by people that make me laugh). Lastly, I like to surround myself with people that are positive, interesting, intelligent, genuine, honest, and ambitious...they give me something to admire, while constantly aspiring to keep my own head up and keep moving forward.

Rowling, Martin Scorsese, Steven Tyler, Kathy Griffin, and I would have loved to have met Kurt Cobain and Steve Irwin while they were alive.

Music:

I pretty much like all kinds of music, but I like various forms of rock music the best. Nirvana is my all-time favorite band followed closely by Guns N' Roses. I also quite enjoy: Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Hole, The Offspring, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Green Day, Van Halen, Tom Petty, Velvet Revolver, Audioslave, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi, U2, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Journey, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, etc. I also like a lot of classic rock, blues, and soul music as well.

Movies:

Anyone who really knows me knows I can't possibly list my "favorite films" succinctly because I love many films for many different reasons. I am a big fan of all kinds of horror films, as well as screwball comedies from the 1930's-1940's.
Here are a few random samplings of some films at the tops of my "favorites" lists: The Godfather 1 & 2; Raging Bull, Goodfellas, The Celebration, Braveheart, Rashomon, Silence of the Lambs, Monster, Life is Beautiful, Rear Window, Rosemary's Baby, Sunset Boulevard, Bringing Up Baby, His Girl Friday, Chocolat, Psycho, The Philadelphia Story, The Breakfast Club, Sleepless in Seattle, A Bronx Tale, Natural Born Killers, Thelma and Louise, Dancer in the Dark, Singin in the Rain, The Exorcist, A Christmas Story, Misery, You've Got Mail, Saw, Adventures in Babysitting, 10 Things I Hate About You, Weekend at Bernie's, Shaun of the Dead, the Goonies, North By Northwest, A Nightmare on Elm Street, all of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, all of the Harry Potter films, almost everything directed by Alfred Hitchcock, everything directed by Martin Scorsese, and absolutely anything featuring Johnny Depp!!!!

Television:

I like an ecclectic mix of TV shows, but my top choice is usually sports. When I'm not watching NCAA football, ice hockey, NFL football, or even baseball, a few of my non-sports favorites are: Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, The Dog Whisperer, Intervention, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Roseanne, Seinfeld, I Love Lucy, American Idol, and pretty much anything on the Bravo TV network (Project Runway, Top Chef, Real Housewives, etc.). I also enjoy random shows on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Animal Planet, the History Channel, and the Travel Channel...my new favorite is Cash Cab on Discovery. Oh, and I'm also a sucker for the "Celeb Reality" shows on VH1 (Celebrity Rehab, Rock of Love, etc.) Yeah, I know, I'm a nerd...but, I totally embrace it! lol

Books:

I am a total bookworm. The tippity-top of my "favorites" list is, by far, the Harry Potter series!! Aside from that, I like: anything by Dan Brown (Deception Point, Angels & Demons, and the Da Vinci Code are my favorites of his). Rick Steves' travel books (I have read almost ALL of them). Travel books in general. Anything by Hunter S. Thompson...especially, The Rum Diary & Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He's Just Not That Into You (a comical must-read for most girls everywhere). Shantaram. Catcher in the Rye. 1984. Brave New World. Go Ask Alice. The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
