About Me

Rachel-Yvonne Adassa Eunice McIntosh was born in the beautiful countryside of Elgin, Scotland on January 7th 1984. She is the firstborn and only daughter of Apsotle Caleb Nathanael McIntosh, and Lady Yvonne Adassa McIntosh. Much to the delight of her parents Rachel showed a passion for the minstry, and this was encouraged in the McIntosh household. She would often play-church at home with her younger brother; Nathanael.

Following her parents excellent example, at the age of 8 she decided to accept Jesus into her life, and was baptised in Jesus' name. In the same year, she received the free gift of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. Since that day, She has not looked back in her walk with Christ. Rachel-Yvonne has a kingdom mentality, with a mind to build the kingdom of God right here on earth so that Jesus' name be glorified.
As young child, Rachel has always been eager to be centre of attention, whether it’s through modelling, singing, dancing, speaking, or acting. This has not changed as she has become a woman, and her musical talents have escalated her into various arenas. Rachel’s strength is found in God, as a fervent Christian, her main genre is Gospel. She comes from a long line of singers and musicians, many of whom work in the industry.
Rachel is a singer who has performed on the stages of The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Broadway Theatre, Life TV, BBC1, BBC2, and BBC Radio 2. She has had the opportunity to work with artists such as George Michael, Rod Stewart, Jamelia, Lemar, Bryan McFadden, and Delta Goodrem. These experiences have only made Rachel a more rounded person, able to adapt to all situations.
Its not just Gospel or Pop music that Rachel is involved in, but as a keen Pianist & Saxophonist; she also does Classical and Jazz. This lady is able to adapt to any musical environment that she is thrust into. Her poise, confidence and ability to draw her audience in are signs of an experienced artist with a lot to offer. She has been a teacher of music for many years, and is loved by all her students.
Modelling is also a love of Rachel, and has afforded her with many opportunities to work with amazing photographers. Although Rachel is petite at only 5"2, she has still been able to be a successful model. Photographers love her, and she knows how to 'work the camera.' She knows that success in the modelling industry requires more than just a pretty face, and that it can be challenging for a Christian to uphold the standards. However, this has been no problem for Rachel, she knows just where to draw the line.
As a writer, Rachel has written a number of nationally and internationally published articles, that has won her wide acclaim and recognition as a writer. She is currently in the process of starting her own magazine called, 'Our Passion.' In her own words she said, 'my vision for our passion magazine is that it reaches all young Christians, talking about our passion for God, for music, people and each other. It comes at a point where the young Christians of today need a vehicle by which they can express their passions. There is space in the publishing market for this magazine, and we plan to fill this gap with a project that is full of the Holy Spirit.' For many years the Holy Spirit has been leading her to publish this magazine, and also to publish other literature. Rachel is also in the process of writing her first book.
Her ministry has developed and branched out into many areas that may seem too much for a young woman. Rachel-Yvonne is not afraid to venture into unknown territories, and she knows that her mission in life is to 'show Jesus to the world, and to be a leader among her peers.' She has held many leadership positions nad has been an innovator of change. Her positions have included the following; Music Director @ NewLife Bibleway Church, Bibleway National UK Mass Choir Director, Bibleway National UK Director of Music & Arts, Director of LadySaint Inc, to name but a few.
She is married to the great young international speaker; Pastor Telli Torrez Hardy, with whom she ministers on a regular basis. They are truly one in the Lord!
Young women of God like Rachel-Yvonne McIntosh are few and far between, but she dares to stand apart from her peers and take a stand for Christ. She's a model, singer, dancer, musician, writer....so many things..... Audacious, and bodacious, beautiful and confident in the power of the Holy Spirit...watch this space.Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor
