Sin City is probably the best movie I've ever seen! I would say all Kevin Smith movies, but that would have to include Drawing Flies and Vulgar. So just Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. Top Gun, Braveheart, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Soul, Sid and Nancy, SLC Punk (only movie I can watch back to back with itself), Office Space (rings a little close to home), the Star Wars flicks, the X-Men and Spider-Man franchises, Boondock Saints, Snatch, Fear and Loathing, pretty much anything with Johnny Depp, since we're on the subject, Pulp Fiction, the Kill Bills, Resevoir Dogs, True Romance, Trainspotting.
Smallville, Heroes, Rescue Me, Grey's Anatomy, Top Chef, Bones, The Big Bang Theory, whatever CSI/Law and Order Bailey happens to be watching, South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, etc. That's a huge jump from my previous "NO TV" policy!
Recently read Brad Meltzer's "Book of Fate", and started "Heart Shaped Box" by Joe Hill. Recent comic book stories of note include the Sinestro Corps War across the Green Lantern titles, Fables, the X-Men crossover Messiah Complex, Ultimates Vol. 3 (welcome back, Joe Mad!), anything being written by Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar, Geoff Johns, Brian K. Vaughn, Bill Willingham, Greg Rucka, and many others.
