I'M G THOMAS

About Me

After indulging rather heavily in hallucinogenics at University I spent the best part of 2001 - 2003 as a sort of middle-class psychedelic shaman character. Happy times spent staring intently at clouds, trying to tune into the gaian mind and boring people at parties with monolgues about the upcoming 2012 sea-change in human consciousness and how reality, society and specifically employment are nothing more than sick tricks that the higher-dimensional lizard overlords use to keep us all in check. If you have fifteen minutes of your life that you're not using for anything why not watch a short film of mine about video diaries and magic mushrooms - The Remembering - It won a Royal Television Society award you know.
When the drugs wore off I spent a very unhappy period in London floundering around in film production, trying to break into documentary camera work and rapidly losing all of my money, good will and faith in humanity. I deserted the sinking, festering ship that is our capital around this time last year and made the move to Liverpool in the dead of night in the back of Multi Purpose Chemical's van. We've also been recording some of my songs as 'The Material Archive.' Everything has turned out just fine and I now live happily ever after.
