"The PATMAN" began his official singing career in his grandfathers church. His professional singing career started when he joined an a cappella quartet out of Berkeley, California, calling themselves G-Men. After the group disbanned PatMan returned to his gospel roots when he joined the Young Inspirational Gospel Choir of Cal Berkeley while still pursuing a professional recording career PatMan resurfaced a few years later as a duo with one of the members of G-Men providing the lead & background vocals on an independent label in the Bay Area. Records. The duo would record a 13 track CD entitled J.A.H.A.R.I. (acronyms) for Jazz And Harmony Artistically And Rhythmically Innovated, was received well on Germany and international internet radio back in 97. After parting ways of creative differences The PatMan ventured into lounge singing by accompanying a jazz trio at the The Lakeview Club of Oakland(a 5 start members only club/restaurant) It wasn't until The PatMan was introduced to Bay Area Hip-Hop artist, PHAME and beat maker -Producer extraordinaire Gennnessee that was able to step into the lime-life of singing hooks for up and coming bay area and east coast rap artist. The PatMan and Genenessee would come together to produce a silky, R & B solo album that would be well received within the Bay Area. Presently in 2008 The PatMan is residing in L.A. working and networking with musicians and producers on various projects.
