Bruno C. and Yan B. started playing music together in Ottawa in 2001 and are now based in Montreal.
In 2005, they joined forces with three other recording artists to form the Montreal-based independent label AKACHIC RECORDS . The label released Pax Nipponica's debut six-song EP, NOT TONIGHT, in 2006.
