I am Cherokee Indian and I love to dance in powwows. I also make a lot of Native American crafts like beaded earrings, chokers, and dream catchers.I also like to draw and write poems. I am married with two children and I also enjoy doing genealogy. What I did find in my genealogy is that my 5th great grandfather was the medicine Man for the Cherokee people. I have a strong interest in the paranormal for many reasons. Since I was a little girl I saw things that my parents would say like most parents would say "You just had a nightmare go back to sleep." Or things like "There's nothing in your closet or under your bed!" Well after awhile I just kept these things to myself and hid under the covers till what ever it was went away. But unlike most kids in the long run............I didn't stop seeing these things or hearing them or feeling them or knowing when something would happen before it did happen. It wasn't till after my mother died that I really thought I was losing it that I went to my great Aunt and told her what I was going through and had all my life. I didn't get the reaction from her I expected to get.... She looked at me with the proudest look on her face and said, "Sweetheart,....every women in our family has been able to do that as long as I can remember." I can do it, your grandmother could do it, and your mother could do it too." That's when I lost it!!! I said, " MY MOTHER COULD DO THIS!!!" I got mad then. I asked her why did she never tell me about it? Why did she let me grow up being scared to death and not explain it to me? Here I was going through this all my life and she never told me any of this!!! Then my Aunt said I guess she hoped it would pass over you and you would not have to deal with it. I said well guess what? I have been trying to deal with it by myself and now my daughter has it to. She was told about it the first time it started happing to her by me. I refused to let her go on thinking no one would believe her. And just in the past few years I found out my mothers sister has some of these gifts too. And she didn't know the rest of the family could do it either. She was like me, she thought she was the only one and didn't talk about it. Which most people don't because of the obvious reasons. Well any way over the years people through my relatives, friends, and word of mouth have learned and seen first hand what I have done and can do and I have helped many people over the years and learned a lot but there is so much more to learn about the spirit world hines my interest in the paranormal. For those who have never seen a ghost it IS hard to believe in it I know and hard to prove...but if you ever do........ it will be HARD TO FORGET. And if the paranormal isn't hard enough to deal with I also have the dreams and visions to deal with too. But I have been given these gifts for a reason so I use them to help others when ever I can.Seeing future events is hard and sometimes scary and there is not always a way to stop or prevent them.And you wonder why you are shown something you can do nothing about. But sometimes it is not for you to change the future...
