..About meI was born in Munich, Germany, in 1982 as son of a Cameroon father and a German mother.My whole environment was into the music. My mother sang in a group called "Up with people" and toured with them all over the world, in the sixties. Inspired by the sound of my fathers guitarplaying I soon discovered my love for the guitar aswell. On my sixth birthday, I held my first guitar in my hands, that was when I started dreaming of a career in music. My parents made me listen to many diffrent styles of music. African artists like Manu Dibango and Francis Bebey as well as songwriter like John Lennon, Eric Clapton, George Brassens. Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder... so many artists that inspired me... At the age of 15 I started to write first own songs.After my high school graduation in 2001, I moved to Cologne where I met several musicians and producers who have been accompanying and supporting me ever since on my way, e.g. Patrice Bart Williams who I met in the summer of 2003. He invited me to support him on his Unplugged tour. So I appeared in several Patrice concerts as support together with my guitarist Nils Neubauer and the singer Inessa. During the following months, I supported other artists and friends, like Don Abi, Jahcoustix, Adé (Bantu / Brothers Keepers), among others.At the same time we started to record several songs in my friend Hajo Krohls studio and worked with him in creating the first demo-recordings.In 2005, I decided to record an album with Patrick Anthony. He's a great producer and experianced musican, who took his time with me to work out the production of my first album. In November we finally found the right studio for the recordings. Now hold on just a minute, everybody who is already waiting to get to hear the music - we're still working but soon be finished. Peace Jean
