XM Radio has spoiled me. I've had it nearly three years now and feel like a I want to hear less music than I used to. Can a person get too much? But, there a few notable exceptions; Steely Dan will always be my number one band, Becker and Fagen represent musical genious! I began enjoying jazz music at a young age, I never expected to turn on to it the way I have. Although I've got to think that XM radio missed the bus when they layed out the jazz generes on their station. I really think they need a lounge jazz station; bring on the great sounds of the 50's and 60's! Dave Brubeck rules that roost!
I like Bond films! And yes, the new Casino Royale is excellent. I know there are alot of nawsayers, but I think the film gets back to the basics of who bond is and they should continue to follow those roots.
I like the programs that teach me something; Discovery, History, National Goegraphic. But I won't pass up too many seinfeld episodes either... I need to laugh and that usually does it for me.
I've read alot... you wouldn't know it for my lack of spelling and my occasional grammatic faux paux (I thank my daughter for correcting those ;-)But, writers... current favorite are Carl Hiaason, Tom Clancey and Bill Bryson. There are too many more to list here but I'll update the top three as they change.
