About Me

I am a 19 year old Record Producer/ Composer blessed to have worked with some of the finest talents the world has to offer, as well as writing musical pieces for popular television series' and global businesses' advertising campaigns.
S.K.I.T.Z began making music at only the tender age of 13 and quickly earned a name for himself in the underground scene before breaking boundaries by appearing in RWD magazine's coveted "About to Blow" section as a relative unknown. Success quickly followed for the East London native as he earned critically acclaimed reviews on Ace and Invisibles "The Illout Show" and in I.D, Touch, Vice, Blues & Soul, Echoes, Wispa and S.O.S Magazines.
Whilst the noteworthy guestlist on "In The Zone" would make most producers jealous, the fact that S.K.I.T.Z is alot younger than your average producer makes it all the more remarkable. Not letting this phase him, the young beatmaker has compiled a 26 track urban masterpiece in the face of adversity.
The quality of production is such that the beats could safely sit side by side with any of S.K.I.T.Z's counterparts across the Atlantic. Indeed S.K.I.T.Z's talents caught the attention of Diplomat member Jim Jones who jumped on "Trap Dealer Remix" alongside Purple City and Un Kasa, the video of which is currently recieving heavy rotation on stations such as BET and MTV stateside.Other highlights on "In The Zone" include former So Solid member Swiss delivering a moving performance on "Each Day I cry" which contrasts heavily in comparison to the media driven image of the group as gun toting gangsters. Perhaps the most original track is "Passion Fruit" where S.K.I.T.Z harness' the UK beat box champ Faith SFX to create the backing beat for UK singing sensation Lady NY.
Battle Riddim was undoubtably the biggest Grime tune of 2006 and exemplifies the raw energy of the scene, whilst President T teams up with Myspace master JME for the hard hitting club banger "Heard What I Said".
Following the sell out launch at the ICA, a live showcase of tracks from "In The Zone" on Logan Sama's Kiss FM show had well over 100,000 people locked in, a testament to the enormous street heat generated by the project.

S.K.I.T.Z Beatz - Not such a bad guy

Despite contrary belief I am not this 'big headed' person I am being made out to be. WHATS WRONG WITH A BIT OF SELF CONFIDENCE? Is it really such a bad thing?
