Blue borough records started in summer 2003 by a rap group SEONEFOUR/8 and associates. Due to the groups popularity and influence the Lewisham borough is now known as Blue borough.
Other artists joined the label Blue borough records. Tracks released on this label were:

The video and single 'Let love shine' featuring Movemakers, sponsored by N.B.C, Unlimited and the Arts Council.
Whilst artists on the label were working on other ventures SEONEFOUR/8 collaborated with a Bajan artist FLAREWON. This made SEONEFOUR/8 popular with the Bajan community.
This success led to a 'Best of British' tour in Barbados which was organised and funded by Blue Borough records.
The distinctive royal blue hoodies with the SEONEFOUR/8 across the chest designed by Blue borough records, Simon Perchment and Darren Shakespeare brought the community together and gave the youths a sense of belonging.
This created a huge following from youths from South/East/West/North London as the trademark royal blue hoodies and t-shirts was such a success.
The popularity of the Royal Blue hoodies made authorities believe it was gang related, not knowing it was a community coming together appreciating good Hip-Hop music. Due to the negative attention from the media and legal matters, Blue Borough records are now back to reclaim what they started and are back with a new wave of BLUE for 2008.
