Hi:)I'm Eilen, I come from a little place in the Faroe Islands called KlaksvÃk. I was born September 28th in 1981. (Yes, I know! Must've been a romantic Christmas at my parents' house back in 1980!;)) I grew up with my parents and four brothers. Two older than me, two younger. We fought a LOT growing up, but to my surprise, we're actually rather close now we're grown up. Something that means a lot to me!
Anyways. Now I'm living in the capital of this country, Tórshavn, in the nicest flat ever with my boyfriend, Sjúrður. I've been working at a newspaper in Tórshavn, called Dimmalætting since April 2006. It's one of the two biggest newspapers in the Faroe Islands. I like my job and enjoy writing, but haven't really decided on what to study in the future. Lingered for a while with the design stuff, but have again! changed my mind. (I seem to have troubles making my mind up when it comes to the important stuff:/)
Mostly I'm a happy and friendly person, I enjoy the company of my friends, I like creating things either by knitting or sewing, and just to relax at home with a great book or magazine and a glass of wine. I'm also a frequent guest at the towns' cafés and bars.
And of course I love music! I love music, books, theatre, handicraft, art and everything, that is made from our natural gifts, and find it truely inspiring.
