About Me

I grew up in the small town of Jasper,AL. I am a professional musician. I've been performing and writing since the young age of 13. Im very proud to be included as a music achiever in "The Alabama Music Hall Of Fame". To be a part of the awesome talent that has started there career in Alabama is such an honor. I have shared the stage with some of the country's finest acts. I started my music career with the band "Rumor Hazit". We took the stage all over the southeast. While in this band, I gained so much musical direction that would push me to the next level. After that I joined up with Mark Palmer to form "Hot Tin Roof". After graduating high school, I wanted to start a band of my own. I started "Coupe Deville", alongside Zach Baker,Shawn Burnett, and Kevin Key. We were a high energy blues rock band that was similar in sound and musical direction as Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepard. We opened for acts such as Alanta Rhythm Section,Black Oak Arkansas,Brother Cane, and VALLEJO. After leaving Coupe Deville I moved to Nashville to move my career as a sideman into full swing. While in the process of moving I landed the job with country artist Daylon Wear. Daylon was on Freefalls Records, which was led by Bob Freeze and Ben Ewing. We toured over the country supporting his album, Texas Twister. Opening for acts such as Jack Ingram, Pat Green,Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cory Morrow, and Cooder Graw. With record sales unstable,Daylon lost his record deal. So I came back to Alabama to focus on my career and future with Alabama artists. I then went on to play with country group "Unwound". We opened for acts such as Confederate Railroad, Steve Azar, Tammi Cochran, and Cledus T. Judd. I later joined the Alabama based country group"Copperline", after touring the southeast college circuit with this act I wanted to focus my talents and time towards a original act! After that I landed the job with country artist Greg Alan. We shot the video for his single "beer gut" in Chicago. After leaving that project I finally found the talents of Chris Scott, which had a solo album out "Hard Livin", produced by Damon Johnson. Chris Scott and I teamed up to start "The Lovin 44s". I put myself around good musicians that are writing good commercial material. Since then I have been focusing on my writing and guitar skills! Check out the sounds of The Lovin 44s on the player below!
