About Me

A high plains carbon-based biped with a penchant towards being a skosh audacious at both opportune and inopportune moments. A self-proclaimed creative type who finds the ad agency biz way more interesting than he should - somehow he chose it as a career and hobby without considering the ramifications. Oops. He's an ambiverted critter who can go from contemplative to impulsive in 0.2 seconds - keeps things interesting.A well-read infojunky who knows a plethora of big words but doesn't always know that he doesn't always know how to properly pronounce them until it's too late.Is easily amused, but not so easily impressed.Has been accused of having a problem with authority, but it's usually later determined that he only has a problem with nincompoops in positions of authority.Doesn't usually speak in the third person. Also goes by the name of Clay. Have a nice day.

My Interests

Name it.

I'd like to meet:

If I had a time machine, I'd like to meet Téa Leoni around 1995 or so and have her read Dr. Seuss stories to me in that breathy, smokey voice of hers while having me in a scissor hold after several rounds of top shelf tequila body shots and a bag of crunchy Cheez Doodles (You're a lucky man, Mr. Duchovny.). But, since time machines are hard to come by, I'm more than happy to redirect my energies towards those with unique, lively personalities. Those who are genuine in the truest sense of the word, but also possess the talent to be sarcastic as hell when the opportunity arises or the ability to detonate a three-megaton zinger when least expected... those are darn good qualities.

Music:

Damned eclectic, from alternative to zydeco.

Movies:

Mainstream is good. Non-mainstream is better.

Television:

Current faves are My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Heroes, SNL, Reaper, Chuck, The Daily Show, Venture Brothers and Frisky Dingo.

Books:

Just a few of the many authors I dig: Terry Pratchett, Christopher Moore, Neal Stephenson, Tim Cahill, Bill Bryson and JK Rowling. Also lots of books on peculiar non-fiction subjects, including but not limited to a disproportionate amount of books about soup.

My Blog

Well, here I am. Whee!

Until an old Fargo buddy sent me an "add" thingie this weekend, I had forgotten I had almost started setting up a Myspace... err... space back quite some time ago. So, although the emptiness of my pag...
