About Me

| View | Add Favorite
my songs are intimate reflections of my experiences... i aim to express my impressions, and evoke the feeling of a moment in time. i feel the world intuitively, empathically. songs are my release, my offering. i have been writing songs off and on for about 12 years... but have only recently begun to pursue sharing them with the world again.
in addition to performing my originals acoustically as opportunities arise, i also sing with the ripple effect, humboldt county's home grown grateful dead tribute band. a new side project may also be in the works soon...
the tracks on this page are just quick scratches that may ultimately serve as the beginning to a more indepth project. in the meantime, they're the best sounding recordings i've got, so... enjoy!
*please note* this is my real myspace music page... there is another out there, but due to password issues, i've been locked out of it for sometime. i just haven't gotten around to jumping through the hoops required to get it deleted...
thanks for checking out my music...

this summer i was honored to be a part of the second annual FrogFest Festival in Santa Fe, NM... much love and many thanks to all the wonderful Frogville folks!!

Band Members: my heart, my voice, my life...
Influences: my personal musical tastes run the gamut from the grateful dead to radiohead, everywhere in between, and other scattered places... and all have touched my muse in some way. primary influences on my singing and songwriting include joni mitchell, CSN&Y (and various incarnations thereof), edie brickell, donna jean godcheaux (70's Grateful Dead), libby kirkpatrick, ani difranco, nathan moore and aimee curl of ThaMuseMeant, my dear friend andrea zvaleko, my ex-husband hunter moore (who really deserves most of the credit here), and countless incredible songwriters and performers that have graced my consciousness over the years...
Sounds Like: hmmm... i've been wondering this question myself... let me know what you think... ;)
