Make like a sheep and get the flock out!

About Me

Automobiles have become a big part of my life. My friends and relatives all talk about cars. When I was about 8 years old, my dad took me to the San Francisco International Auto Show and I was fascinated. Although I always wanted a nice exotic car, I always liked the idea of the underdog beating the very expensive automobiles. In Highschool, My dad bought me a 1985 Honda Accord hatchback 5-spd. I remember my sister, my brother and me would always take the car out when we got done with our homework and try to teach ourshelves to drive that car. At the same time in highschool, my friends were spoiled by nice new Civic's, Integra's, and Preludes. Well being asian, I wasn't bought up liking domestic cars and most asians at that time were driving imports. This was back in 1994, and the Import mod scene was in the early stages. If you lowered the car, people think your car was fast. In junior year, I saved enough money to get a 1988 CRX Si. Many people lowered their cars by cutting the springs back then, but i decided to get some sportlines and cut them anyway. I slapped on some 94-95 GS-R wheels and I was rolling in style. The street race scene was huge and every friday we would roll out with my highschool buddies. I remember we would meet up at the bereyessa Denny's or the Albertson's across the street. We would roll out to Ringwood or Automall. They would race for hours sometimes up till 4am. As I recall, over 300 cars would go out. If you ain't clubbing, you be out in the races. Me and my brother always wanted a 10-second Honda and decided to build one for LEGAL drag racing at the local events. Our car wasn't finish because most of our parts were stolen. We decided to build our own cars for the street. Fast foward to 2000...I got a brand new 2000 Civic Hatch. I also got a 1981 Toyota Starlet. During that time, a few people decided that putting OEM parts from Japan was cool. Another thing that was cool was suspension mods. Once I acquire the clean look and got all the suspension mod, me and my bro decided to take the car out for road racing. At that time, road racing was really big for imports yet but it caught on for years to come. I also started to mod the Starlet and me and my brother were having fun at the road course learning the physics of the cars. We taught ourshelves to heel and toe, power over steer, late brake, brake over steer, etc, etc. It was fun. We raced our friend's cars and they raced our cars. I'm still at the point of going out there and having fun.Today, work have caught up to me. Our projects are slow going, but progressing.

My Interests

I sell BMW and Mini. The GOOD: Test driving the fast cars. Free lunches on weekends. Get paid lots of money doing it. Work 6 hours a day. Selling = money = happiness. THE BAD: No weekends off. It's a cut-throat business. Very competitive. No free lunches on week-days. Test driving people that don't know how to drive. Not selling = no money = stress.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants a BMW or a MINI. Well I like to meet cool people.

Music:

I try to be cool, so i listen to Will Smith (the white man's black person). Getting Jiggy With It.

Movies:

All the Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Tom Cruise, and Russel Crowe movies.

Television:

Top Gear, American Shopper, Discoery Channel, CNN, PINKS

Books:

Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in The Hat.
