A Dj's DJ, Simon quickly gained the respect and admiration of many. Hailed by a number of greats as one of the best in the booth, Simon has long been a staple to America’s nu-electro movement- and more so a favorite behind its decks. His infamous “Sleaze†events became highly infectious amongst Washingtonians, enabling him to shed new light on new sounds- And his XM residency “Redux†continues to garner an increasingly enthusiastic international following (boasting well over 350k listeners weekly in North America alone). From fashion events and major festivals to warehouse raves and super clubs, Simon's very distinct sound, studio work and impeccable 3 turntable sets have had a deep impact on dance floors through out the Americas and have placed him firmly amongst the US nu-electro elite.

Every week over 300,000 people tune in to hear their futuristic retro funk and interviews with the best electro has to offer. More recently Simon has re-directed all of his free time and energy into his studio work, tossing out originals, remixing, re-editing, & otherwise customizing his favorite tunes for play. He signed to Tommie Sunshine's xjR EU label in early 2006.
Simon developed an overwhelming passion for music at a very early age. He was inspired by early New Wave, 80s punk and Progressive Rock. Once a well established skateboarder, at 14 he was picked up by 2 sponsors and was involved in putting on many events hosting some of the world's best skateboarding teams (Birdhouse, Sonic, Foundation, Element & Alien Workshop.) He was bitten by the Techno bug and picked up his first pair of decks when he was 15. Two years later he quickly began to take rank in the local Washington rave scene and became a regular guest at the legendary Tracks and Edge nightclubs in Washington, as well as a fixture at many of the regions best underground events. His reputation spread quickly and he was soon taking his show on the road.
In 2001 Simon decided it was time to take things into his own hands and created "Sleaze", one of the worlds first & longest running club nights dedicated to the then newly emerging nu-electro scene. Sleaze gathered a lot of press and was a huge success in exposing such great artists as Legowelt, My Robot Friend, John Selway, Josh Wink, Ulysses, Valentio Kanzyani, Justin Robertson, Tommie Sunshine, Dj Unknown, DMX Krew, Traxx, Barry Weaver, Larry Tee, Miss Kittin, Tiefschwarz, Richie Hawtin and many more to Washington. The sounds caught on and Simon's Sleaze events were soon incorporated into a monthly residency at the world renowned event “Buzz†(Voted #1 Mega Club and Best Club Promoter in USA by Urb Magazine for 8 years) and are also currently calling home to Club Five (Voted DC's Best Club & Club Promotions by the Washington Post)

But WHO is Simon? I don't think many people know me that well. Hell.. I'm not sure I do. I am not really the best with words. I'm usually described as high-spirited, enthusiastic & forward thinking, but the truth is I usually can't get out of my own way. I have a big heart, and I always have the very best intentions. I'm the worlds worst Buddhist; make me laugh and I'll follow you off a cliff. Make me dance and I'll buy your whole catalog. Make me think and I might actually be able to remember your name. Remember my name and I might just give you everything I own. I love culture clashes, I love contrast. The possibility of learning something new is what keeps life interesting. I like to stand back and observe, really try to take everything in.
Music is a huge part of my life; it's my playmate, my lover, and my crying towel. I'm an EX-Pro/AM Skateboarder. I've been semi-actively rediscovering my passion for it lately. I spend every winter weekend I can, strapped into my snowboard seeking a rare peace of mind and solitude. I'm always down to have a good time & I am very adventures but I also have a short attention span and while I am often the life of a party, I can also be very secluded and have always been somewhat of a loaner.
"I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality." ~H.A. Overstreet
