Debut Album Will be Out Feb/March...!

About Me

I could never live with me thats for sure. Im as stubborn as lamp post and as temperamental as the weather.. a classic Virgo. I believe deeply in acceptance and have a very open mind..Im half Italian and half English and having spent a lot of time in both countries, both cultures run very deeply with in me. Metaphorically speaking I like a cup of tea and a biscuit as much as sex on the beach. I have a passion for song writing, the most immediate of all the art forms.. A good song can stop time. I love traveling, movies, anything Macintosh, comedy (Richard Pryor is my all time hero) and Im quite fond of breathing. Ive never really settled down anywhere but Ive been living in Norway for the past three and half years. Im brave getting braver on the snow board..! Ive just finished recording my first album. I got the chance to work with someone who I deeply admire and believe to be one of the best producers in the world today, Tchad Blake. It was an amazing experience but also difficult at times as Im not the easiest person to work with. I have one more song to record for the album which should be out sometime in the near future. Id like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the people whove taken time to listen to these three songs off the album and leave comments. It really means a lot to me. Thats what made me want to write songs in the first place to connect with someone, and silence the loneliness. In the words of Elvis Costello (another Virgo....), Whats so funny bout peace, love and understanding. Below is the offical biographyJACK RUBINACCIThe son of an Italian musician and an English schoolteacher, Jack was born in Rome and has spent most of his life travelling. His music has evolved from his own experiences including his life spent in Rome, Birmingham and Oslo; his family separations, his time with various bands, and his study of art - all underpinned by his desire to discover his roots and find true love. During his travels he absorbed the cultural and spiritual inspirations, which have now graced his first album. The raw and boundless nature of songs like Crash This Car and Chinese Whisper express emotions ranging from unbearable isolation to unimaginable joy. Jack's instinctive gift for storytelling entwines easily with colourful melodies and soulful vocals to create an album of full texture and interest, which feels like an old friend. Jacks early musical impressions came from the blues of Robert Johnson and Cream, along with Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Later came enlightenment via Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteens Nebraska, Paul Simon, Tim Buckley, REM (particularly the song Nightswimming) and Tracy Chapmans debut album. Those who have already heard Jack, have identified him as a contemporary of the likes of Kubb, Jack Johnson, Elbow and Ray Lamontagne, perhaps due to the convincing infusion of roots, soul and classic pop. The album was produced by Tchad Blake, with Jerry Marrota on drums, and recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, in the Autumn of 2006. THIS IS AN IMAGE SOMEONE SENT ME, IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS STUFF AND FANCIES MAKING ONE FOR ME, WITH TWO OF MY FOTO'S AND A STATEMENT SAYING MY DEBUT ALBUM WILL OUT IN MARCH, I'D LOVE TO SEE IT.
