This is where shit gets a little rediculous. I like soo much music. I can't list all that I have discovered so I'll tell what has influenced my music writing instead: Smashing Pumpkins, System of a Down, The Misfits, Slayer, Sublime, NOFX, Bad Religion, Art Blakey, Lauryn Hill, The White Stripes, Atari Teenage Riot, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, The Mars Volta and At the Drive In, Minor Threat, Operation Ivy and Rancid, Common and Kanye, 3rd Bass, De La Soul, Chris Cornell, Justin Timberlake, Blind Mellon (poor shannon), White Zombie, Faith No More and Mr Bungle, The Digital Underground (old Skool TUPAC!!), Public Enemy, Biz Markie and his work with LEN and Sugar Ray, Outkast, House of Pain, Cypress Hill, Funk Doobiest, Dream Warriors, Rage Against The Machine, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Tom Petty, The Travelling Willburys, The Dead Kennedys, The Dead Milkmen, SEAL, Stevie Nicks, AC/DC, TSOL, BoB Marley, The Blues and Mozart (dig it!!). I can't even keep going cause it's already crazy. I like almost any music.
Movies:
Movies I liked lately were: Lord of war cuz Mr Cage pulls of "badass" fairly well while seeming like a bit of a wuss too. I also like Marvel movies cuz they are full of chunky fighting goodness and lots of melted cheese all over them makes them look even better. I like good dramas like eternal sunshine and lost in translation. I have a shit load of movies but i hate watching them more than once. i feel like your initial reaction is the strongest you'll ever feel about it so why water it down. (the exception of course being comedies)That being the case i think i've enjoyed almost everymovie i've ever seen. (except "shadow of the vampire" with John Malkovitch. I will never get those hours of my life back unfortunately)
Television:
I FREAKING LOVE TV DVDs!!! I think most shows on the adult swim are genius!! (Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show, Sealab 2021, HarveyBirdman Attorney At Law, etc.) I also love ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (makes me laugh out loud all the damn time) Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Smallville, Lost, 24 (Kiefer You Badass!!), Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Point Pleasant, Firefly, Viva La Bam, Wildboys, Futurama (Do YOU have my season 4!!???!!!), The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, Chapelle's Show, Ren and Stimpy, StarTrek,
Books:
I really liked Perfume By Patrick Suskind. Seems cliche cause Kurt Cobain Liked it and wrote songs about it but it's actually a really cool story. I also eat up way too much time having things described in detail to me by Stephen King which is sort of my guilty pleasure. I know I should quit but I can't. The Dark Tower Series seems to persist at any rate.I liked some of James Pattersons books like "Roses are Red" and "Along came a Spider" I enjoyed Thomas Harris before his books became movies. No book has ever changed my life.
Heroes:
I look up to my dad cause he built his life and tries to help me build mine. The concept of Heroicism though is vastly outdated. True courage comes when those who don't know how, or don't want to, continue to face life head
