About Me

OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13! OUT NOV 13!
Very few DJs can transition from one genre to another with a fluid sense of what the dancefloor wants, yet Jake effortlessly fuses music styles to create one great night of dance music. His trademark pumping, energetic basslines and tough, yet uplifting melodies lead the dance floor into a hot, sexy, sultry vibe in a way that very few DJs can. From a performance aspect, Jake has continuously dominated decks at a plate-a-minute's pace. His diverse, high energy sets seamlessly blend club, rock, house, hip-hop, classics and more. When Jake was born in the city of Pittsburgh, PA, his mother Denise Komara, didn't have much of a selection when it came to children songs to play. Instead she would put on her 80's records such as Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, B-52's, Alice Cooper, Stevie Knicks and many more. In the late 80's into the 90's, Jake was taken in and really jumped into the hip hop movement listening to the sounds of KRS-One, Brand Nubian, Pharcyde, Tribe Called Quest. In the late 90's a wave of bubble gum pop and mainstream slow hip hop drove him away from the norm. The solution came in 1992 in Baltimore, MD, where he discovered the kicks, claps, breaks, and Loops of Baltimore Club Music. This led him in a different direction moving away from the mainstream style of djing by sticking to one genre of music. Jake keeps an open mind and an open forum when playing at parties, clubs, bars, lounges, all over the World.
