KONICHIWA BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

You know what your event needs? It needs more special sauce…it needs more cowbell… it needs more… Dj E-Dubb, the undisputed King… of the Cowbell.I know… you’re probably wondering what the cowbell is about. Well; as an instrument, the cowbell compliments, but at the same time, stands out clearly. It adds energy to a composition… it adds flair to what most would presume mundane. It brings the party… to the party! This is how Dj E-Dubb became synonymous with the cowbell. It all started in 1988 with a cello and a love for music. At that time “The Message” by Grandmaster Flash was in his tape deck, MC Hammer was on Vh1 and E-Dubb was dreaming of “turning this mother out“.In 1992, E-Dubb hit the San Francisco scene with his Riordan High School cronies and formed the crew “MBEM.” It was a group of friends throwing parties simply, for lack of a better phrase, to get chicks. However; with that being the sole motivation, the group dissolved and became a part of an illustrious history. Soon after that, the high school house parties turned into college dorm parties at San Jose State and late night frat parties with Pi Alpha Phi.Unfortunately, E-Dubb’s “Animal House” experience was cut short do to a sudden and unexpected kidney failure. As a result, a transplant surgery ensued. As risky and draining as that experience was, it was his love of music and the joy of mixing it that enabled him to persevere through this four year sit on the bench. However; it almost left him unmotivated and creatively uninspired. Fortunately; when he and his sister (Dj Smocha) formed Spicey Promotions in 2001, it lit a small fire under him. With that, promotion became an outlet and a means for the resurgence in E-Dubb. For the next three years E-Dubb was a purveyor of “Nights at the Roxbury” but something was missing. Sure, there where flashing lights, attractive women, loud music and good times but something was still missing. In 2004, His sister Smocha got a fresh pair of turntables and hit the town. For him, watching her was like watching a kid with cake. He just had to follow suit and get himself a piece. So he went and got some new turntables of his own and headed into the lab to sharpen his skills. It’s safe to assume that on that night… a Dj saved his life.As a promoter he found himself at various events “keeping it Spicey” but still, something was missing. Finally, he got his mojo back and ventured into the world of the professional disc jockey. By booking parties, private events, and a multitude of night club functions he increased his networking and scouted the competition. He found that some people just play music that they like and others just spin records with no rhyme or reason. Consequently; he wanted to be more than a disc jockey, he wanted to evoke a certain sensation and orchestrate a feeling. He wanted to fill the gap that he felt most Dj’s were unaware of or unwilling to entertain… In one word that gap is… emotion. In other words, he bridged the gap with happiness, excitement, joyful nostalgia and passion. He wanted to insure that you, as a patron, would get the most out of your evening. For you, he wanted the best. He wanted more for your night life… he wanted more cowbell… So he gave you Chop House… he gave you more… Dj E-Dubb
