About Me

P.M. Eaton is a guitarist that can best be described as soulful. A musician who's musical voice takes you on a journey no matter what instrument he uses. P.M. has performed for many Heads of State, and World Leaders including: Nelson Mandela, George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth, Fidel Castro, Jimmy Carter, Anwar Sadat, and Collin Powell, among many others. His talent has afforded him audiences on nearly every major concert stage in the world including: Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, Victorian Arts Ctr. (Melbourne), Seoul Arts Ctr. Royal Albert Hall, Academy of Music & Kimmel Ctr. (Phila.). When not fronting Phunky Man, P.M. is currently the guitarist/vocalist for Dawn Robinson (En Vogue, Lucy Pearl), Kelis, Steph Pockets, T.M. Stevens, and The Phila. Boys Choir. In the past P.M. has played for Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Kindred, Bernie Worrell(P-Funk), Rosevelt "Bubba" Barnes, Dee Dee Sharp, Chubby Checker, Peter Himmilman, Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, and 3x Dope. With his first band "P.M. and the New Breed" he shared the stage with The Ohio Players, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Mtume, Tower of Power, Meshell' Ndge Ocello, G-Love & Special Sauce, Screaming Headless Torsos, Brian McNight, MusiqSoulChild, The Roots, Blessed Union of Souls, Living Colour, and Marcus Miller. Hailing from Philadelphia, P.M. Eaton is surely a talent to watch out for and support. His stylistic diversity will enable him to have longevity in a fickle and often trendy industry. P.M. is currently touring with Kelis supporting the "Tasty" C.D. and collaborating with many of Philly's hottest producers including Randy Boland, Flem Brown, and D.J. Jazzy Jeff.
