this isn't exactly the ideal way to get to know each other, but chances are if you're reading this... we probably know each other already. if not, then it's a pleasure to make yourspace acquaintance.here's the deal: i live in Detroit and i'm proud of it. i sing all the time, yet i would still be nervous to do it in front of you. i work in an operating room and live to make my beautiful fiance happy enough to go through with our wedding plans. i write songs and play some of them with a band called 'a stowaway'. often you will find me in the corner of a smokey bar with my friend chris flynn, shamelessly playing the songs of our heroes on acoustic guitars for money. if you're really my friend you'll come to all of my shows and bring your friends. of course, let me know when there is something of yours I can attend... i'm into it.it may seem a little haughty of me to post music on myspace, but what else am i going to do with these recordings?special thanks to my boy fabs for putting up with my melancholy bullshit and recording this music with me.a little about the tunes:
Grown Over (Don't Look Now) is the product of an impromptu harlem session with my best friend davis. it's a testament to what you can do with a guitar, a mic, an age-old pc, and a buzz. it also serves as a brash reminder of what i could be doing every day if all my friends didn't move to new york city.
Ooh Song is just an honest little tune I wrote in a few minutes and recorded even faster. i get to work in the studio every once in a while and I'm looking forward to posting some more music soon.
