I've recently discovered i love walking in the welsh mountains - i am really lucky to live where i do, i don't want to live here for ever, but while i do i'm determined to enjoy the best that Wales has to offer. I live surrounded by mountains and trees, and it has taken me till now to realise how lucky i've been to grow up here, it's gorgeous here (once you get up a mountain, away from the shitty bits!)

......
Like lots of stuff, depends on my mood a lot of the time, it's usually something i can dance and/or sing to, i always find jumping about in my living room to some good music is the best therapy in the world - no inhibitions, no worries, just dance!!! I also love singing, even though i'm pretty sure i can't really sing, ilove to sing to songs i love when i think no-one's listening
don't really get genres of music much - there's too many labels, i'm easily confused - basically i like stuff i can dance about too, songs that make me think 'that's exactly how i feel..wish i'd written that', music that make me think, and men with guitars and drums!
Love seeing live music, had a fab year or so of seeing (and not seeing!) some brilliant bands and have had a fab time!
Not so fab was not seeing QOTSA and eagles of death metal in somerset house on July 7th last year - was a shitty day all round, got 40 miles from london when finally forced to admit defeat and turn back!
still, much worse things happened that day in london than not seeing a couple of bands, july 7 was not a good day for london
July 7 wasn't a good day for me either, cos it was the first day i discovered that Richard had the lump that seemingly killed him, so i've been hating all the '7/7' anniversary stuff! But it's ok to rembember people that weren't killed in the bombings isn;t it?

Trailer Park Boys is one of the funniest programme ever!! if you like a bit of swearing and smoking and drinking and laughing you need to watch trailer park boys!!
Hate 'reality tv', and the 'celebs' it produces - please will someone make it stop!
Books:
1984 by George Orwell; you need to read this book
If you've ever looked at the 'news'papers, watched the news, watched the telly, and wondered just how much crazier it can all posibly get, then read 1984... it was written nearly 50 years ago and i reckon it is the best and scariest prophecy about how the world is going that I have ever read!!!!! READ IT!!
i love books, particularly love really twisty thrillers, the kind you can't stop reading. loved the 'da vinci code', then loved 'angels and demons' more. Harlan Coben's really good too, but like dan brown, don't read too many of them too close together, they easily merge into one and you get very confused!
really love Ben elton's early books, when they were funny as well as telling us something, his recent stuff is good too, but the earlier stuff was more fun - i must have read 'Stark' at least 10 times!! I've always said that Ben Elton in the prophet for my generation - look at 'Dead Famous', his book about Big Brother - he was right - they've got to be close to having a murder or suicide on there now - SCARY TV!!!
I'm currently reading his latest book about the First World War (can't for the life of me remember what it's called right now) - couldn't get into it at first, which is strange for Ben Elton books, but I suppose it's cos he's writing characters from a time that I can't really imagine, if you wanna read it you may have to give it a chance for a while, but it is true to form Ben Elton, gripping storyline, with plenty to ponder on regarding our modern world!
terry pratchett has got the best view of the world i have ever read
apart from, perhaps.....
kahlil gibran - the prophet, awesome book, it's made life and death make sense to me when nothing else could, if you haven't read it you should...
the book that got the biggest emotional response from me recently was 'a million tiny pieces' by James Frey, heartbreaking and uplifting book - i cried the biggest tears ever over a book, and was so genuinely happy when things got better for him - was a bit gutted when he was forced to admit that it was fiction, not autobiography, which i thought it was, but it's still a fab book - i tried reading the follow up book, 'my friend leonard', but it made me cry too much too soon, haven't tried since,
I will always wish i could read 'Lord of the rings', but everytime i try, i am always relieved when i let myself give up! great story, fab film, really fucking difficult book - too big by far!
if anyone can recommend a good book i'd love to hear from youRight now i'm reading 'Do not eat his book' by Morgan Spurlock. As a wannabe reborn veggie, this book is certainly pushing me towards no more meat - don't eat mcdonalds anyway, but i am not sure i think chicken is better than chick peas anymore! and the advertising stuff... jeez - you gotta read this book!
Heroes:
Richard Nagle, my wonderful brother
He was such a good man, who lived a good life according to what he believed in, he could be a pain in the ass at times, but with hindsight I realised just how much I love him. It's a shame someone has to die before you realise how much they meant to you isn't it? I'd always taken it for granted that he wasthere, and now he's not, I miss him so much
Appreciate the people you care about, and never be scared to tell someone you love them, cos there may be a time when you can't, and it'll be the only thing you want to do
RIP Bro, miss you always, love you forever XX
BOOTS ELECTRIC!!!!! Sexiest man on the planet....
